Gas-Mask
3ds max, Mudbox, Photoshop, VRay
November 2009

My latest work....

She's a deadly WWII era assassin who, as you may have guessed, specialises in gassing her victims before pumping them full of lead. There's an element of craziness about her that I wanted to come across in her character - no one knows if there's even a face under her mask, not even me.

I used Topogun and Mudbox lots here. Topogun proved essential in the making of Gas-Mask as it allowed me to really focus in on her topology whilst still retaining the shape exactly how I wanted it. Topogun was also used extensively in the creation of the texture maps, as the ambient occlusion baking works more perfectly than I could have imagined.

As ever, comments and crits welcome
