Hi all. Meet Thralia.

This project has been a learning project. I originally did the first drawing of her a year ago. She was then made into a model, which was then left, and recreated keeping only the face. A lot of inspiration has come from the movie Arthur and the Invisibles, which I'm still yet to see, but I like the look of the characters.

All hair and grass is done with Ornatrix, and rendered as geometry. I spent over a week playing around with various hair plugins. And eventually came up with this, which I'm happy with.

Her face is rigged fully with stretchy bones, instead of morpher. First time I've done it, but I'd recommend it to everyone who uses morpher as opposed to bones. There's a lot more control.

Let me know what you think guys.

Special thanks to Tyson Ibele (www.tysonibele.com) for his brilliant free tutorial on creating stretchy bones.

Thanks to AndyH...You are the man when it comes to cartoon characters. You're an inspiration to us all.
